Financial Controller route to FD Belfast Salary: neg and competitive c£65-75k doe Our client is a growing business who work with blue chip clients across All Ireland and further afield within the wider group.

With a base in Belfast, they have recently been acquired by a € billion group who have strong investment from a US Private Equity business.
This has given them strength with global support; however, they also have the autonomy to drive their own success on the Island of Ireland.
Based in Belfast you will be responsible for the development of a fit for purpose finance team and scale up as the business expands Working as part of the leadership team this key role will offer a path to Finance Director.
They are a successful and inquisitive business and have already made a number of acquisitions and are keen to continue to do this.
Main duties Manage a team of 3 finance staff in 2 locations and lead, coach and mentor the team in order to offer a strong and fit for purpose finance department Preparation of management accounts with commercial commentary and presentation to executive team Monthly reporting to Group finance team based in Europe and work with UK Preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with auditors as required Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cashflows, Current budget c£11m Work closely with management team in offering commercial decision making support Working capital management Multi-currency management Oversee the completion of monthly payroll for the site.

100 employees) Manage all regulatory returns including VAT and PAYE for ROI and UK jurisdictions Engage and lead project work as required key projects will include integrating a group finance function in Belfast To drive continuous improvement through working collaboratively with colleagues Development/implementation of Financial IT systems including reports on stock, WIP etc The ideal person Technically strong with the drive and creativity to develop business analytics and management information.
