Woodlands Hospital is looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and passionate Band 5 Nurses to join them in providing the best care possible for our adults in later life, whether experienced or newly qualified, on Holly Ward which is the 17-bedded male organic ward.

The postholders would be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team providing care to our service users and being a key contact for our relatives and carers. Daily tasks would include attending and leading handovers, medicines management, care planning, risk assessing, attending and contributing to board rounds and multi-disciplinary team meetings, and supporting junior staff members on shift. Professional development, whether a preceptee or not, is a key priority here at Woodlands and the postholder would engage in an appraisal to identify areas of interest and development and be supported with further training whenever possible. An in-house training programme is being further developed to support the development of our staff team.

  • Pay Enhancements – 30% additional for Evenings (8pm onwards) and Saturdays and 60% additional for Sundays and Bank holidays.
