Your new company The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a large Housing Association, to recruit a Housing Officer on a temporary basis for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of further extension. Your new role You will be responsible for delivering a range of generic frontline housing management and customer services in accordance with the Association's policies and procedures including: Estate Management;Allocations and Void Management;Income Recovery / Rent Arrears Management;Anti-Social Behaviour Case Management. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this position, you must possess: 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C to include Mathematics and English language), or equivalent and a professional housing qualification equivalent to CIH Level 4 or 3 years' relevant experience in a customer-facing role in a social housing setting. Additionally, you must have: Experience of implementing the rules of the Housing Selection Scheme; to include tenancy management (Transfer Applications, Assignment of tenancy) and allocation of literacy with experience of Microsoft Office programmes, including Word and oral and written communication ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders. What you'll get in return This position offers the opportunity to work with an established Housing Association on an ongoing temporary contract basis. You will be paid via Hays on a weekly basis.
