Part-time Year 6 Teacher

Your new company

This small 1 form-entry school near Pilning is looking for an experienced teacher to cover a maternity vacancy starting in Term 2. The school has local partnerships with primary schools who you will work closely with which provides you with a big support network as you settle into your new role.

Your new role

Starting in Term 2, you will be working as a cover teacher on a part-time basis working as part of a job share. You will be working amongst an experienced team of teachers and also TA’s. You will be provided with PPA time during the week, where you will be expected to contribute to planning lesson content and assess pupil learning. This role is suitable for a class teacher of all levels, including ECTs, for those who are more experienced a competitive wage is an option.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Have teaching experience within the last 5 years

• Be confident in all year groups

• Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status

• Work as part of a team effectively.

• Good Knowledge of the English National Curriculum
