Who we are…

Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. We will design, develop, and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors. The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands and we are currently building the UK’s largest battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset. Our first customers are Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Motors.

What you’ll do….

Work with multiple business areas to attract, assess and hire key staff as we grow our R&D & Corporate functions in Coventry & Oxford

  • Deliver high quality hiring experiences for candidates and hiring communities
  • Become a trusted partner to all stakeholders, providing expertise, guidance & support
  • Be a key enabler for the business to meet our high-growth targets

Our HQ is in Coventry and we have recently opened a new R&D Facility in Milton Park near Oxford. This is a hybrid role supporting hires across both locations and some travel would be expected to both sites, and possibly Somerset when our manufacturing facility is completed.

Every member of the team has a huge impact on the future direction of Agratas and is involved in the full spectrum of TA, from delivering our operational hiring targets to project support & process improvements.

What you’ll bring…

  • Strong recruitment experience and a clear understanding of TA best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills & ability to communicate effectively with a huge range of stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn a new industry (Battery), although an appreciation of R&D/Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing businesses would be a useful starting point.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, timelines & priorities while retaining focus on the big picture
