We have vacancy for a Product Manager to join our team based at our Coleshill office. Experience in the automotive parts sector would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the product management of aftermarket product groups including new product introduction, building relationships with suppliers and customers, providing analysis on stock and pricing, working closely with the Marketing team to identify opportunities and to help create technical awareness of the product.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting and analysing data, identifying gaps in the product ranges and through new product introduction taking these to market to maximise sales, profit and stock availability.
  • Developing relationships with suppliers ensuring they understand and meet our requirements.
  • Understanding the needs of the customer and developing the product range through effective new product development.
  • Analysing price benchmarking data to validate our market competitiveness.
  • Managing the suppliers to continually improve stock availability.
  • Managing supply chain product flow, availability, packaging, warranty issues and stock cleanses
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to promote the product group with technical and brand awareness
  • Essential Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft packages especially Excel
  • Experience working within the Automotive Aftermarket environment.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • High level of both written and verbal communication
  • Strong Technical knowledge of vehicle component
