The role: Reporting to the Boning Hall Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of production Team Leaders, directing and assisting in the butchery processes through Primal Cut and across all areas of the Butchery department. You will be working alongside other Supervisors and Department Managers to ensure that all KPIs and daily targets are achieved. Your duties will include: Ensuring daily meetings take place and that minutes are produced and sent out to all senior management. Ensure a safe working environment. Driving quality improvements. Maintaining Yields and investigating variances Provide direction, leadership, development and support to direct reports Assist with the motivation & mentoring of personnel to achieve business goals Supporting the department manager in projects or duties within reason & capability associated within this senior supervisory role The ideal candidate will possess the following skills / qualifications / attributes: – Essential Criteria: Minimum of 3 years experience of working in a manufacturing environment Minimum of 2 years experience of leading and supervising a team Strong Influencing skills Problem Solver & Decision maker Highest level of integrity, honesty and trust Excellent listening skills Hours of work: 40 hours per week.
