Document Controller Newport Permanent salary + package We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team on a large-scale data centre project in Newport. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting the project team with efficient document control processes. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and maintain all project documentation, including drawings, reports, and specifications. * Ensure document control procedures align with project requirements and industry regulations. * Maintain version control and track document revisions, approvals, and distributions. * Use document management systems (EDMS) to upload, store, and organize project files. * Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely document updates. * Conduct regular audits to ensure document accuracy and compliance. * Provide training and support to project teams on document control procedures. * Assist in preparing reports and documentation for project meetings and handovers. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Document Controller on large construction or data centre projects. * Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, or similar). * Strong understanding of ISO standards and industry best practices for document control. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
