As an Relief Tramper Driver HGV CLASS CE with Riverford, you’ll be a vital part of our operation, ensuring our award-winning veg boxes reach distribution hubs across the UK. You’ll be driving Class 1 refrigerated trailers, handling both deliveries and collections. In some locations, you’ll also manage loading and unloading using pallet trucks and counterbalance forklifts. This role is physically demanding, requiring independence and resilience-perfect for someone who thrives on responsibility and variety in their work.
Must hold Class 1 licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
Driving a goods vehicle minimum 1 year (preferred)
Valid DCPC
Counterbalance and powered forklift certificates preferred but not essential as training can be given

This is a Permanent Contract, working approximately 48 hours per week, 5-6 days per week working Monday to Friday (inclusive of bank holidays) including, Saturdays and Sundays on rotation. This role will include overnight stays and you’ll spend on average 3 nights away per week, which may increase to 5 nights based on requirement. Start and finish times vary, predominantly afternoon start times and finishing early hours of the morning – flexibility is essential. Based from our farm in Devon: Wash Farm, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 0JU, travelling across the UK & into France
Pay: £41,409 per annum with potential to earn more through overnight stays and overtime when offered.
