Role Description
Our small, but dynamic studio of architects and developers is currently expanding and has a need for a part-time Bookkeeper & Studio Manager, based out of our office near London Bridge. There is scope to for the job to become full-time as live projects enter more intensive phases towards the end of this year. In addition, there is the possibility to discuss flexible working patterns or remote working. The Bookkeeper & Studio Manager will be responsible for day-to-day financial management of the studio, cost itemisation of construction projects, and helping to develop financial models for monitoring projects and cash-flow. The job will further entail managing the physical studio, providing light administrative support, and contributing to the creative and ambitious ethos of the practice.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or financial management
- Degree or vocational qualification in accounting or related field
- Expert proficiency in Xero accounting software and Excel
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Proficiency in Adobe In-design beneficial
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Enthusiastic about architecture or design
- Previous experience in architectural or construction related office highly desirable
