We are currently seeking to recruit a Trainee Cosmetic Repair Technician to join our existing skilled and dedicated team at Skoda Leeds.

Our business started over 60 years ago and has been in the same family ever since. From our very humble beginnings, we have grown to be in the top 50 car dealers in the country. Across our 26 businesses we have a stable workforce of over 600 people, many of whom have been with us for years. About You

In this role, you will be responsible for performing cosmetic repairs on vehicles that have been involved in accidents. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

A Cosmetic Repair Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring the appearances of used vehicles. This role focuses on training the successful candidate to make cosmetic repairs to a high standard and restore a vehicles visual appeal, functionality and structural integrity., * Inspect and assess damaged vehicles to determine the extent of cosmetic damage.

  • Use specialized tools and materials to repair cosmetic issues such as scratches, dents, cracks and worn finishes.

  • Apply filler, paints and other materials to restore vehicles to their original condition.

  • Sand, buff and polish repaired surfaces to ensure a smooth, seamless finish.

  • Ensure repairs meet the companies quality standards and customer expectations.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Maintain records.

  • Order and maintain inventory

Hours

Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm

Alternate Saturdays 8.30am-12.30pm
