Commercial Interior Designer

Hours: Full-time, 40 Hours per Week

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Interior Designer to join our team and help bring our clients\’ visions to life. We are looking for someone with a minimum of three years experience, in a similar role within the commercial interior design sector, with a portfolio demonstrating their knowledge and understanding of commercial environments, building control regulations and safety restrictions within the UK. Studio 93 specialises in offering services in a diverse range of sectors, including workplace environments, hospitality venues, student accommodation, build-to-rent (BTR) developments, education institutes, and health and wellness facilities. Our expertise spans these critical industries, but as a team we are not restricted to just these sectors and are always looking for new areas to expand into and offer our services to.
The successful applicant will be joining our team in Harrogate, to work alongside the interior design team and Director. We will provide an opportunity to work on high-profile commercial projects in locations such as the Emirates and Old Trafford stadiums, corporate banking clients and up and coming independent brands.
Skills and experience:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience, post qualification, in Commercial Interior Design – we are looking for someone to slot in to our existing team structure, so experience within the field is a must
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Photoshop
· Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial design experience across diverse industries
· Exceptional space planning, layout, and design skills
· Knowledge of current UK building codes, standards, and construction techniques
· Ability to communicate design ideas clearly and effectively with clients and team members
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
· Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for site visits and client meetings
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
· Design and execute impactful interior layouts for a variety of commercial spaces (offices, retail, hospitality, etc.)
· Collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams to develop design concepts and space planning solutions
· Produce detailed drawings and presentations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Photoshop
· Ensure design solutions are aligned with the client’s brand, goals, and budget
· Create 3D visualisations and walkthroughs to bring design concepts to life
· Source materials, furnishings, and finishes that meet project needs and specifications
· Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining design quality
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in commercial design

· Competitive salary and benefits package – salary circa. £30,000 + per annum dependent on skills and experience

· Flexible and hybrid working when diaries allow, the main working hours to be conducted Monday to Friday between 10am and 3pm, with flexibility either side
