About the Role:
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in manufacturing, assembly, wiring, and testing, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently. You will work with minimal supervision and be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Setting up and running production equipment, including EHRT, plating lines, and power presses
- Assembling components following build instructions, drawings, and BOMs
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained and equipment runs efficiently
- Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organized
- Participating in team initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Adhering to all Health & Safety policies, including the use of PPE and manual handling procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Ability to set up and operate production equipment efficiently
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
- IT literacy and the ability to read and interpret BOMs and technical drawings
Desirable (but not essential) Skills:
- Lean / Six Sigma qualification or experience
- Familiarity with ERP systems, Teamcenter, or CAD software
