This is a fantastic Infrastructure Project Manager contract opportunity to work with a leading London based Tech organisation on an urgent data centre migration project.
The Infrastructure Project Manager is Hybrid so 2 days a week on site in the central London office.
The Infrastructure Project Manager contract is INSIDE IR35. Please note this role was advertised earlier today as outside IR35 it has been changed by the client to inside!, This is an exceptional Infrastructure Project Manager contract opportunity with exciting, interesting projects and longevity on offer.
As Infrastructure Project Manager you will be overseeing projects to outsource Infrastructure and Cloud (AWS & Azure) solutions to 3rd parties. As Infrastructure Project Manager previous experience scoping outsourcing of Cloud Projects from the beginning as well as managing through to completion is essential. Strong experience of Azure or AWS (ideally both!) is required as is a reasonable technical knowledge to engage with tech and infra teams/engineers etc. Strong stakeholder and most importantly 3rd party and vendor management is essential as Infrastructure Project Manager as is understanding and scoping current infra & cloud platform, metrics etc prior to migration/transition to 3rd parties. Excellent communication skills are requited as Infrastructure Project Manager with any finance or banking being desirable but not essential as Infrastructure Project Manager., * Previous outsourcing of cloud infrastructure
