Science technician required for a fantastic school in Central London who are looking for a Science technician (senior technician for the right person) to join them in September. The school caters for children of high academic standards. Your duties will include working as a team with other Science technicians to prepare materials and equipment for science lessons, carrying out risk assessments, keeping check of stock and disposing of waste appropriately. The school has a supportive team of staff which will assist you during your progress within the role. The role is full time and to start in September. The school is keen to look over Science Technician CVs ASAP and meet Science Technicians after the half term break.

This is an outstanding all-girls school based in the heart of London. The school has an academic history of excellence (87% A*- C at GCSE including English & Maths) in addition to state of the art facilities. This over-subscribed school has four applicants for every space available and boasts a brilliant reputation within the local community. All in all this is an excellent school to work within both in terms of students and staff members. The School was judged to be 'outstanding' by OFSTED in March 2009 and November 2005. Requirements:

  • Science based degree
  • Previous experience as a science technician within a school/laboratory is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working within an educational setting (e.g. working with children)
  • High level of pupil behaviour and fantastic academic standards
  • Good working environment and strong Science team
