– Lisburn MCS are delighted to partner with a well-established law firm in Lisburn who are seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their team.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a strong background in civil litigation to develop their career in a dynamic and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities: Managing a caseload of litigation matters, including civil, commercial, and property disputes.
Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
Drafting pleadings, legal arguments, and case strategies.
Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients at all stages of the litigation process.
Liaising with clients, counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure effective case progression.
Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Essential Criteria: Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate in Northern Ireland.
Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in litigation.
Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
Excellent legal drafting and research abilities.
Ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
Strong communication and client management skills.
Desirable Criteria: Experience handling a mix of civil, commercial, and property litigation.
Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution methods.
