Kitchen and Food Prep Assistant

Are you an enthusiastic and committed person? Passionate about providing nutritious and tasty meals and snacks? Then being part of the ESCCape Kitchen team at County Hall, Lewes could be the job for you.

As a part of the kitchen team, you will be the face of the team mainly on front of house duties serving and selling food and refreshments. You will also help to lead the way in providing healthy meals and maintaining a clean kitchen and service area environment and undertaking routine checks such as stock taking and around hygiene and cleanliness.

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Creativity, with flare for good presentation of food, ensuring it is attractive to those with an appetite for our food.
• A professional approach to food management, food hygiene and good customer skills.
• Initiative to plan, prioritise and work with minimal supervision and work independently.
