Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for property and public service? Our client is seeking a Strategic Asset Manager to help shape the future of their property portfolio.

In this pivotal role, you'll lead the development and delivery of our client's Strategic Asset Management Plan-ensuring their land and buildings are fit for purpose, cost-effective, and aligned with service needs. You'll work across departments to optimise asset use, drive value, and support the Council's long-term financial sustainability.

Your new role

Lead on asset strategy development and annual reviews
Deliver feasibility studies and options appraisals (up to £10M)
Use data to inform investment decisions and capital planning
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve asset utilisation
Ensure compliance with legislation and best practices

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally MRICS qualified (or equivalent)
Proven experience in strategic asset management (public sector preferred)
Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
