The CSR Group are currently recruiting a HSE Advisor on behalf of our client, who are industry leaders in specialist fabrication, surface finishing, and full assembly throughout the UK and Ireland. The company office is based on the North Coast, with a new office being secured just outside Belfast. The HSE Advisor role, is crucial in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and promoting best practices across all operational sites. The role reports to the SHEQ/Systems Manager and involves travel across multiple locations. Responsibilities; – Creation and review of safe systems of work, including preparation and delivery of training. – Conduct risk assessments and develop suitable risk controls. – Carry out regular workplace and equipment inspections, producing reports with improvements. – Advise on and maintain compliance with H&S regulations. – Record and investigate incidents and accidents, implementing corrective measures. – Lead in-house training on health and safety issues. – Promote a strong health and safety culture through consultation with team members. – Prepare health and safety strategies and internal policies. – Conduct safety audits and monitor H&S performance through data analysis. – Stay updated with HSENI legislation and developments in the industry. Essential Criteria; – 5 years experience as a health and safety advisor in manufacturing or construction. – NEBOSH National Construction Certificate or equivalent. – Full driving license with site travel required. – Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. – Strong team player with effective communication skills. – Proven reliability, punctuality, and flexibility with time. – Experience in working under tight deadlines and resolving performance issues. Preferred Criteria; – ISO 45001 Internal Auditor training. – Train-the-trainer qualifications in Manual Handling, Face Fit, Abrasive Wheels, etc. – NEBOSH National Diploma.
