Wrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe. We are looking for a strong HR professional who can meet tight deadlines and work together as a team. We are looking for an experienced HR Officer to join our team, taking responsibility for day-to-day HR operational duties.

The Role:

  • Recruitment and Selection: Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations and provide an advisory service for managers in relation to issues such as grievances, disciplinaries and other performance related matters.
  • Absence Management: Manage short term and long term absence throughout the business in line with the Absence and Timekeeping Policy. Making recommendations, giving advice and support to managers, liaising with Occupational Health and case review meetings.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the design and delivery of development workshops in areas of HR best practice to enhance knowledge and skills of employees and management team.
  • HR Information System: Ensure that PAMS, Employee Information Centre, Time and Attendance system and other applicable systems are updated accurately and timely. Prepare weekly, monthly, ad-hoc reporting and compilation of statistical information as required to support managers with continuous improvement and review of performance e.g. turnover, staff surveys, absence.

The Requirements:

  • Third level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (or equivalent) and 18 months' experience in a dedicated generalist HR role.
  • Demonstrable experience of advising Managers on current NI employment legislation and Codes of Practice.
  • Proven experience of implementing and monitoring an absence management process.
  • Strong working knowledge of managing employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievances.
  • Relevant experience of managing recruitment campaigns.
  • Proven experience of developing, reviewing and communicating policies and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of computerised HR Systems.
  • Demonstrable experience of Microsoft Office computer skills including Excel.
