Head of Programmes

Wrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe. We are looking for a Head of Programmes, to manage and facilitate New Program Introduction, from concept to commercialisation, supporting the strategic goals of the company.

The Role:

• Report to and assist the Chief Program Officer
• Manage all aspects of the program process.
• Establish program meeting cadence weekly/bi-weekly/monthly. Ensure transparent communication is encouraged throughout the projects.
• Manage program gateways/milestones.
• Partner with the Cross functional Management teams to ensure objectives are achieved.
• Ensure customer specifications are managed in line with budget expectations.
• Co-ordinate solutions to both technical and commercial challenges.
• Ensure process change control procedures are adhered to and communicated.
• Assist the various departments in pre-customer, sign off / acceptance.
• Conduct post review of program for improvement points and closed loop feedback.
• Manage daily running of the program with each functional Project Managers.

The Requirements:

• Degree in an Engineering or Business discipline
• Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years working experience as a program manager
• Experience in Business Plan development
• Experience in resource planning.
• Demonstratable experience in budget preparation and control.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing global projects
• Proficiency in preparing timelines, managing, and reporting on projects utilising MS Project / Excel.
