We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team. This role involves receiving, storing, and dispatching products, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the warehouse. The position is physically demanding and requires working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Receive and process inbound goods, inspecting for damage and accuracy

Move materials across the site to support operational needs

Maintain accurate stock control, including put-away, picking kits, and selecting parts for dispatch

Load and unload goods safely, ensuring careful handling

Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided)

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with 5S principles

Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe lifting techniques

Accurately pick and prepare items for dispatch, ensuring secure packing

Support business operations with occasional overtime when required

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Computer literacy, with experience using a Warehouse Management System

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word

Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Excellent organisation and time management skills

Ability to lift and carry heavy items in a fast-paced environment

Security Clearance & Right to Work
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship may be considered but is subject to immigration rules and the availability of a suitably skilled candidate.
