What the Job Involves

As a Business Support Officer within the Social Care Support Team, your primary responsibility is to deliver a comprehensive business support service for Adults and Children’s Social Care. This involves supporting business and social care processes, coordinating and minuting safeguarding meetings in line with statutory requirements, and maintaining accurate data. You'll provide frontline customer service, process referrals and applications, and manage client relationships. Your role also includes actioning correspondence, emails, and phone calls, supporting recruitment and managing subject access requests and complaints. You'll contribute to service improvement initiatives and ensure participation in supervisions and team meetings. Commitment to mandatory e-learning and training is required. The position is full-time and mainly remote, with at least one day a week working from the Civic Offices, requiring a typing speed of 50+ WPM.
