We are looking for a talented SQA Engineer to join our growing UK team. Joining our team means becoming part of a dynamic and diverse team who thrive in a fantastic office culture. You will help us on our ultimate goal: to become the premier global rental/hire technology company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute and manage our software testing procedures to ensure the quality of our product is world class.
- Review and analyze software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
- Perform manual and automated testing, including: Functional testing, Regression testing, Integration testing, Performance testing, User acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify, record, and track bugs using defect-tracking tools
- Ensure test cases cover both functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, usability, and security
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
- Working directly within a scrum team and participating in agile ceremonies such as backlog management, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Key Skills:
- Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit.
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Basic proficiency in programming scripting languages such as C#, Python, or Java for test automation
- Experience with bug tracking tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA
- Knowledge of tools like Git, SVN, or Bitbucket
- Experience with Agile development methodology
Nice to have skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI
- Ability working and scripting with relational databases such as MS SQL Server
- Experience working within cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
