Project Manager : Energy Trading

Exciting opportunity for a Project Manager, with Energy Trading experience, to join this global Energy company.

This transformation includes the establishment of a highly successful new Power Trading desk within the Energy Trading team and ventures into cutting-edge solutions that address the evolving demands of the Energy sector. These initiatives include advanced Gas infrastructure, LNG technology, effective Energy Storage systems and Green Energy solutions. These innovations create opportunities for exceptionally talented individuals to contribute to the success of this evolution, working alongside some of the industry’s top professionals and leveraging the very latest technology.

About The Role:

* Design and deliver a solution for the end-to-end valuation of structured deals and assets as a shared capability and deliver significant value for traders by enabling them to monitor and observe positions, and thereby optionality, in near real-time.

* Required to structure and run effective workshops.

Your Background Needs To Include:

* Project Manager with 10+ years in IT with 5+ years delivering progressively larger and more complex projects up to $2m, teams up to 20.

* Experience within Energy Trading of other Commodities Trading is essential.

* Very strong Scrummaster skills/experience to work within two value streams to help make the teams more productive and higher performing.

* Ability to work from central London offices, 3 days per week.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
