Are you customer focused with the ability to engage and build relationships? Can you deliver exceptional results? We have an exciting opportunity in our Construction division for a Buildings Site Manager to deliver works in South Cumbria – there has never been a better time to join! The successful person will have previous experience in Site Management and proven track record in the successful delivery of new commercial/industrial buildings, including refurbishment works. As a Site Manager at Story Contracting, you will be reporting to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for managing: * Health & safety and quality * Manage day to day operations leading the site team * Manage site resources * Programme and commercial cost control * Build and maintain high performing teams that will involve direct Story employees as well as contractors * Carry out site inspections, accurately recording details and following through with any actions * Manage client and stakeholder relationships The Ideal Candidate: * Will be SMSTS competent * Have strong Site Management experience in new building and refurbishment of commercial structures * People management skills and the ability to build excellent relationships with people * Ability to maintain and develop excellent client relationships and be able to demonstrate success with this * Strong team player with excellent communication skills * Ability to manage a high volume of workload effectively and strong organisational skills * IT skills across MS Office Benefits At Story Contracting, we invest in our people.
