Ensure clients are provided with the best possible team of people for their work combining appropriate technical levels with industry/service expertise.

Understand the team’s development needs, industry and sector preferences and direct them to assignments that are both challenging and developmental.

Actively manage the sector teams and resources available to ensure swift turn around for urgent requests and ability to move staff between jobs based what can be fluid and fast moving deadlines/priorities.

Use the Resourcing system STAFFIT to produce accurate update reports on availability and forecast revenues to members of the leadership team.

Maintain a complete and accurate list of pending, live and ending projects.

Main resourcing responsibilities

To support the Resource function and bring all sectors together to establish the best possible solution to staffing projects.

Liaise with M&A Partners, COOs and other senior members of the team to ascertain clearly, and in detail, their resource requirements including keeping abreast of project extensions

Run weekly meetings with the Lead Resource Manager using STAFFIT as a guide to ascertain what each individual is working on.

Discuss all resource requirements with Resource managers, project leaders and Sector teams (so Partners, Directors, and Assistant Directors) and allocate appropriate resource. This may involve some negotiation as there is rarely a ‘perfect fit’ team readily available.

Develop strong and deep knowledge of functions within the team and team members so as to be able to take into account their preferences/development needs when proposing scheduling solutions.

Develop strong knowledge of STAFFIT and how it runs, and the reports it produces, driving forward it’s usage weekly.

Assist with weekly reporting including availability from STAFFIT and utilisation themes across the months and live project information.

Provide resource solutions for some non-client work resource requirements such as proposals, business development research.

Meet with all new joiners to understand their background and talk them through the group’s scheduling process and resourcing system STAFFIT.

Previous comparable resourcing role ideally.

Evidence of skill matching e.g. CVs to appropriate roles.

Evidence of dealing with a wide range of people at different levels.

Evidence of strong administrative and organisations skills.

Logistics background.

A minimum of one year of professional work experience.

Computer literate, in particular a working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel (and ideally Power point).

Proactive and creative approach to problem solving in a high pressure and fluid business environment.

Numerate and well organised.
