The purpose of the role:
We are currently looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team based in Slough.
In this role you will be the working to support all operational aspects of the business. You will allocate both equipment and labour resources to the projects. Matching the best resource to the correct projects will be key to success in this role. In this role it will be important to be highly organised, plan ahead, and be a great communicator.
Key Responsibilities
The key focus areas for the Operations Coordinator role are:
- Plan and allocate staff to projects to ensure they are resourced correctly.
- Distribute job specific information and timings to work crews prior to deployment.
- Work with the Operations Management team to request the correct accreditation in advance of the projects.
- Book and manage all travel-related needs for the onsite team, this will include: accommodation, flights, ferry’s, car hire and airport parking.
- Work with Service and Warehouse Management teams to ensure correct equipment is prepared and ready for dispatch to customer sites on time.
- Work closely with the Service Manager to plan ahead maintenance/services to ensure availability of required vehicles to meet customer needs.
What we’re looking for:
- A highly motivated and organised individual
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organization skills.
- Skilled at both collaborating in a team environment and taking ownership of individual tasks when required.
- A background in fleet or logistics would be highly desirable.
- An awareness or previous working history within the event industry would be an advantage (events or broadcast history)
- Good level of IT skills, to include MS Office suite.
- Available to take business calls out of normal business hours.
