Company: Our client is one of the largest mushroom growers in the world and is looking for a Mushroom Farm Manager to join their team. Opportunity: The Mushroom Farm Manager oversees all aspects of mushroom production, ensuring efficient and high-quality output. This role involves managing the growing team, optimizing production processes, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in mushroom cultivation practices. Responsibilities: * Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand. * Supervise and coordinate activities of mushroom growers and other production staff. * Monitor and analyze production metrics to ensure efficiency and quality. * Manage inventory of raw materials, spawn, and other supplies. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and quality. * Train and mentor production staff, providing guidance and support. * Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions. * Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and distribution to ensure smooth operations. * Prepare reports on production performance and present to senior management.
