Allen & York are excited to be working with a leading, dynamic consultancy, specialising in offshore engineering, with an established international profile in large-scale submarine cable developments and operations.
Our client is looking for an inquisitive Geoscience Consultant. The successful candidate will support the delivery of subsea cable and offshore renewables projects, with an emphasis on subsea survey, cable installation, planning and design, risk assessment and project management.
This role represents an exciting opportunity to work on a number of varied, cutting-edge projects for a wide range of clients.
You’ll need to hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical subject, with comprehensive experience within the offshore hydrographic, geophysical and/or geotechnical survey industry, or have experience in design and installation of subsea infrastructure. You’ll be familiar with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems and compliance requirements for offshore projects. An excellent communicator, you’ll enjoy liaising with clients, contractors and regulators and be skilled at managing work packages or projects. With great interpersonal skills, you’ll enjoy collaborating with colleagues, working together to develop practical and quantified leading-edge solutions.
