The post holder will be responsible for working within multi-disciplined Engineering teams to deliver innovative design solutions for new concepts & customisation of existing products for our customers across the globe, ensuring delivery to cost, time, quality & adherence to strict aerospace regulations and suitability for manufacturing. Responsibilities Liaising with 3rd party vendors in support of projects. Supporting prototyping for new projects considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints. Creating relevant documentation, such as Test Plans and Reports for electrical testing of seats. Supporting customer meetings as required. Providing end to end support on an electrical basis throughout the lifecycle of projects. Supporting the Engineering team to achieve key milestone dates and work with internal stakeholders to assist with production investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build and test issues. Supporting change management through research, concepts, design reviews, trade studies, impact analysis and implementation. Previous experience with one of the design software packages such as AutoCad, Pro E, Solidworks, Catia etc. Proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with Customers, manufacturing, suppliers and production. Results driven with a can-do attitude to ensure solutions. Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. Desirable Experience of Electrical Design within a design and manufacturing environment Previous 3D Harness routing or Pipe routing experience Previous experience writing test plans/reports We reserve the right to enhance criteria on shortlisting.
