We are looking for a procurement specialist to join Ingersoll Rand at our Gardner Denver business based in Redditch. The candidate will be part of Strategic Procurement team, responsible for PPV,
NWC Improvements, Supply Chains, and Inventory Targets.
Responsibilities

Leading and Coordinating Strategic cost down initiatives.

Supplier Negotiations To achieve PPV and NWC Targets.

Support operations team to mitigate Supply Chain risks.

Support operations to improve supplier KPI’s (quality, delivery, cost)

Analyse procurement data, to identify opportunities., * 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays (Option to purchase 5 days after probation period)

Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Experience with OEM or in the automotive industry would be advantageous.

Degree level or equivalent preferred.

CIPS or equivalent supply chain qualification preferred.

Full UK Driving Licence., * Knowledge of manufacturing, quality control, and planning processes.

Mainframe and personal computer experience a plus.

Must possess good mathematical skills and the ability to communicate orally and in writing.

In-depth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems (manufacturing, materials management, production planning, procurement and distribution).

Understanding of ERP/MRP Logic, ideally SAP
