We are looking for 2 Commercial Property Loss Adjusters to join the General Property team, a crucial component responsible for managing property claims that range from minor damages to major catastrophic events. As a Commercial Loss Adjuster, the role offers the unique opportunity to be assigned a specific region and handle a diverse portfolio of property claims. This position is primarily home-based but requires regular regional travel and occasional overnight stays.
The role entails proactively handling and settling property claims, with values up to £100k. The complexity of these claims can vary, necessitating a thoughtful and empathetic approach to each case. You will investigate claims meticulously, understanding the situation from the policyholder’s perspective, and work towards a resolution by establishing facts and policy details with tact and calmness.
Maintaining and nurturing client relationships is paramount, achieved through effective management and delivery of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Proactive interaction with clients and brokers is essential for efficient claims handling and resolutions.
To be considered, you will be an experienced Loss Adjuster that thrives on providing solutions. Candidates with previous Loss Adjusting within domestic and/or commercial property losses will be considered. ACII or CILA qualifications are preferred, along with those qualified by experience.
This team covers Central and North London, you will ideally reside across these areas: Cambridge, South Essex, Luton, Slough, Hemel Hempstead or North of the River Thames. A typical week will be 2 days on site, with up to 3 visits per day and the remaining 3 days from an office location or working from home. You can expect a realistic and manageable caseload of 65-70 WIP.
Depending on experience, salary is up to £60K, company car/allowance and comprehensive benefits package.
