Job Description
A new job opportunity is available with my client who is a leading water treatment systems solutions provider. They specialise in Reverse Osmosis, Deionisers, Filters, Water Softeners and Effluent treatment Plant systems at customer sites throughout the UK. Their ideal candidate will have proven electrical, mechanical engineering experience as well as hands on knowledge of said water treatment systems\\nField Service Engineer – Water Treatment Systems role:\\nThe successful Water Treatment Field Service Engineer role will be varied but would typically involve the following:\\n• Servicing and maintaining water treatment systems such as Reverse Osmosis, Deionisers, Filters, Water Softeners and Effluent treatment Plant at customer sites around the UK (and potentially overseas)\\n• Managing direct relationships with customers and plant operatives.\\n• Analysing and resolving problems whilst both at site and by way of remote support.\\n• Completing installation and commissioning of plant (subject to qualification and skill set)\\n• Completing Service Reports and other associated documentation (using MS Word)\\n• Responding to customer needs in line with commercial and technical specifications.\\n• Assisting the company with service improvement initiatives; taking a proactive approach to increasing productivity & profitability.\\n*Full training would be provided with a suitable vehicle, PPE, tools, mobile phone etc.\\nField Service Engineer – Water Treatment Systems requirement:\\n• A full UK driving license is required and a willingness to travel\\n• Mechanical and/or Electrical experience and qualification\\n• Experience with the water treatment industry would be advantageous\\n• Experience of having worked as a Service Engineer or in a field based technical support role would be advantageous\\n• Experience in working with PLCs would also be an advantage but is not essential\\n• Passionate about providing a first-class service to our customers\\n• Strong communication skills both verbally and written, with the versatility to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner\\n• A professional approach to your work and communication with colleagues and customers\\n• A good level of IT competency\\nField Service Engineer – Water Treatment Systems package:\\nSalary base £40k – £45k\\nPaid overtime\\nProfit Related Bonus Scheme (subject to qualification)\\nTablet and smartphone\\nCompany vehicle and Fuel Card\\nWork wear\\n22 days holiday rising to 25 days subject to service period) plus 8 public holidays\\nWorkplace Pension Scheme
