– with opportunity for a permanent role Hours: 37.5 pw / Mon-Fri 9-5 Overview One of our health sector clients is looking for a Telecomms Manager The Digital Services Telecommunications Manager will manage the support, delivery, and operation of Telecommunications Systems and Services, including VOIP technologies, paging systems, mobile phone services, contact centre, Switchboard, Voicemail and call recording solutions.
The role is responsible for managing a team of staff to ensure the design, capacity, availability, security, and continuity of these systems.
The post holder will provide expert guidance on the design and implementation of telecommunications components within broader ICT solutions.
They will also be responsible for the operation of the our Switchboard Services.
About you Degree/HND in ICT Over 3 years experience in ICT Strong knowledge of Desktop Applications support Strong experience of Enterprise IP Telephony Systems Strong experience of managing or leading a team ITIL foundation certificate or knowledge of it’s principles with desire to secure ITIL certification Driving licence with access to own car What you’ll do as the Telecomms Manager Lead on the design, implementation, development and support of Telecommunications ensuring availability, capacity, security and continuity to meet present and future requirements Analyse and resolve complex problems related to Telecommunication Systems and Services Provide technical leadership on all aspects of the Telecommunications infrastructure ensuring Best Practice standards are adhered to Monitor and maintain performance of Telecommunications Systems and Services ensuring adequate capacity and availability of Telecommunication systems and services taking both proactive and reactive action when required Ensure that robust tested backup and business continuity procedures are in place for Telecommunications systems and services Ensure Telecommunications operational documentation is up-to-date Assist the Assistant Director of Technology and Telecommunications with the selection and procurement of Telecommunications Hardware and Software achieving best value for money and compliance with relevant standards Management of the allocated Telecommunications Systems and Services budget For further information on this Telecomms Manager vacancy and a full job description, or any other IT job in Northern Ireland, apply via the link or contact JP Rooney for a confidential chat today.
