CARGO SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Cargo Sales Representative to handle sales leads, cultivate customer relationships, and contribute to sales growth in the cargo and logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new sales opportunities by identifying potential clients and business prospects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding cargo services and pricing.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotes to clients.
- Follow up on leads and sales inquiries to convert them into actual sales.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Maintain and update customer information and sales activity in the CRM system.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Evaluate and respond to incoming tender requests in a timely manner.
- Evaluate and respond to incoming spot requests and provide timely feedback.
- Prepare and present promotional offers to clients.
- Evaluate and respond to contract requests, ensuring timely responses.
- Evaluate and respond to allotment requests in a timely manner.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School graduation (Associate or Bachelors degree is preferred)
- Permanent residence permit in the respective country (The Company will not provide or assist with work permits)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cargo or logistics
- Work in flexible hours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Being a team player along with having the capability to work independently when necessary and being able to work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Sense of responsibility, Ability to make decisions accurately and effectively
- A results-oriented mindset with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction.
