Your Role as a Live-In Carer As a Country Cousins live-in carer, you will provide personalised, one-to-one support to clients in their own homes, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Your responsibilities may include: Providing companionship and emotional support tailored to each client’s needs. Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping. Supporting clients with medical or mobility needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Working alongside families and healthcare professionals, including district nurses and specialist agencies such as Marie Curie and Macmillan. Who We Are Looking For We welcome experienced carers who are committed to kindness, professionalism, and respect. You should be: Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to help others. Professional and adaptable, able to fit into different home environments. Confident working independently, with the ability to take the lead when required. Requirements At least six months of professional care experience. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK. Self-employment status and two professional references. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
