Company: Our client is a Dublin based, leading market player in the delivery of popular ready-made meal solutions across the island of Ireland and is recognized for its continuous rollout of innovative products. Their business supplies into multiple markets within which it has been successfully expanding its market share. Opportunity: As a Quality Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our client’s products meet stringent quality and safety standards. Working as part of a dedicated quality team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to every stage of the production process, from inspection and analysis to documentation and compliance. Responsibilities: * Maintain accurate and organized quality control records to ensure compliance with specifications and health and safety standards. * Record and communicate any non-conformances, ensuring they are addressed and resolved promptly. * Keep calibration records up to date for all equipment according to the agreed schedule. * Notify the QA manager and/or production manager of any non-conformances and assist in implementing corrective actions. * Conduct laboratory analysis and maintain documentation to support quality control processes. * Handle and document customer complaints in the absence of the QA manager, ensuring timely resolution and communication. * Demonstrate flexibility by being prepared to assist in other duties within the business unit as needed. * Adhere to all company rules and policies, including participating in training activities and supporting the training of new staff. * Collaborate with the QA manager and production team to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement efforts. Candidate Requirements: * Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry. * Working knowledge of BRC/ISO certification standards. * A quality or technical qualification would be advantageous. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities. * Dedication to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
