The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
To contribute to the achievement of ABM’s objectives and the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation by assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts, forecast and detailed cost analysis & control. As well as support the business daily through business partnering, providing effective and efficient management accounts and financial information.
KEY RESPOSIBILITIES:

Revenue – Application for Payment; ensure invoicing on a regular basis and accurate against contract. Monitor & challenge costs for rebilling purposes. Ensure invoices / credits are delivered in a timely fashion. Work with credit control to resolve issues on unpaid invoices.

Cost – Assist with the review, allocation & reconciliation of worked hours within the time & attendance system as well as the accounting system assisting with the reporting of hours and reconciliation to payroll as well as reviewing payroll data to GL. Review the cost coding of PO’s within the accounting system & reallocate costs to BU as required. Monitor mobile phone costs, fuel cards, vehicle expenses and assist with the reporting.

Reporting & Analysis – Preparing the monthly management pack including Operational KPI’s & Department P&L’s. Identify areas of concern & communicate to management.

Assist with the annual budgets and rolling forecasts for ABM and costing for pricing purposes. Liaise with budget holders monthly to establish the cause of budget or forecast variances when comparing to actual results. Effectively handle all queries from key budget holders, and proactively help them to manage costs in their areas of the business.

Complete all monthly accruals/ prepayment/ recharge and reallocation journals

Assist operations by acting as point of contact between them and Central finance functions to ensure supplier payments are made promptly.

Record contract changes as and when updated

Ensure SOX compliance by following ABM internal controls processes. Assist with internal & external audit queries.

Investigate, advise, support & monitor projects which drive costs savings and /or improve operational performance.

Payroll – Review payroll, hourly & salaried; Identify areas of error and concern

Agency timesheets, review submissions before sent to the supplier

Stock – Assist Operation to undertake annual stock take and calculate value of stock.

Ensure that you work in a safe manner observing the Company Health and Safety policy and procedures.

Other Ad Hoc tasks.
MAIN WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner and liaising with the TFL team including Commercial Manager and Operations teams as well as the TFL Client. In addition, visits to Heathrow to engage with the rest of the Finance team.

Part qualified accountant ACCA/CIMA
-
Solid Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, ability to filter, sort data, sumif, xlookup and pivot tables.

Organisational skills to create and maintain accurate records, follow invoicing instructions from operations, and document compliance of company policies

Ability to work with multiple and ambiguous sources of data and tight deadlines at month end.

An eye for detail and the confidence to request further clarifications where necessary and apply professional scepticism. Ability and willingness to get involved and learn new systems and improve reporting within the contract.

The successful candidate should also be able to familiarise themselves with the nature of the business and integrate quickly with the team and other divisions within the group. Whilst long hours are not expected, certain days of the month will be busy at month end.
DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES:

Ideally a working knowledge of Oracle Fusion & SAP. Reporting using MS Office tools including Power BI. Previous experience of working in a billing role would be useful.

Experience gained in the Facilities Management industry would be advantageous.
