We have a large fleet of purpose-built truck mounted twin generators and a rapidly growing stock of broadcast specific lighting. With Hybrid trucks and mobile BESS units due to join the fleet this year, it is an exciting time to join our team, as we assist our customers with their drive for sustainable solutions.

The purpose of the role:

We are currently looking for a Fleet and Facilities Manager to join our team based in Slough.

In this role you will work with the road and generator fleet managers, to ensure our fleet is compliant and kept in exemplary condition. You will play a key role in developing our new fleet as we embrace the energy transition. You will be responsible for all areas of fleet and facilities. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to company strategy and direction.

Key Responsibilities

The key focus areas for the Fleet and Facilities Manager role are:

  • Keeping and overview of all FTVS fleet.
  • Manage the effective maintenance and refurbishment of all FTVS fleet.
  • Manage fuel and DEF for the fleet (supply, storage, compliance).
  • Manage all compliance and license aspects of the fleet and facilities (Tax, insurance, DVS, ADR, O license, etc).
  • Manage all maintenance, servicing, repairs, and upgrades to our facilities.
  • Manage all facilities service contracts (fire alarm, extinguishers, security alarms, CCTV, entry systems, barriers, AC, roller shutters, etc.)
  • Liaise with the landlord regarding building maintenance, compliance and permissions.
  • Take an active role in implementing new H&S practices and procedures, with the Head of Operations.
  • Manage day to day depot health and safety
  • Own and manage the fleet and facilities budgets.

· Excellent attention to detail and strong organisation skills.

· A manager skilled at both collaborating in a team environment and taking ownership of individual tasks when required.

· Enthusiasm for developing and maintaining our fleet and facilities to the highest standards.

· A thirst for learning and a desire to embrace the journey of energy transition.

· Extensive experience in fleet and facilities management.

· Transport managers qualification (desirable)

· Good level of IT skills, to include MS Office suite.
