Catering Manager – Newcastle

Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE)

Monday – Friday role!

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager to join our Eurest team based in Newcastle.

Services include: Lunch, Vending, Hospitality and Coffee Shop.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Adhere to all client and company Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times
  • To ensure all displays, counters and seating areas comply with company and statutory health and hygiene requirements
  • Complete, maintain and update all Food Safety and Health & Safety paperwork
  • Manage and drive the completion of all compulsory training with all team members
  • Advocate the delivery of all company and unit profit protection procedures
  • Conduct and monitor all stocktaking procedures ensuring minimal risk of waste
  • To proactively up sell and demonstrate an excellent knowledge of products provided to customers and clients
  • To take responsibility of all monies within the business whilst on shift ensuring all Profit Protection Procedures and relevant paperwork is adhered too at all times
  • To ensure health and safety issues are investigated
  • To oversee the preparation and production of food to the brand standard
  • Ensure company marketing material is up to date and relevant to company standards
  • Analyse and effectively manage all in unit costs
  • Monitor and manage GP
  • Ensure cost and sales records are accurately inputted and maintained

About You:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally contract catering and the management of producing food and adhering to recipes and menu planning
  • Experience in a high-volume food delivery site
  • Financial acumen with experience of stock control and budget reporting
