Senior Care Assistant – HC-One
About The Role
This role is 44 hours per week, day shift only. You will plan and implement the kind of care that gives residents a sense of security, dignity and independence. You will get to know residents and their families – helping ensure personalised care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain the highest standards of care and influence the rest of the team. You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities and administering medication. You will maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with your team. This role also offers the opportunity to give something back to those people.

Qualifications
Ideally, you’ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care and be prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent. You should have a background in person‑centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. Key attributes include brilliant positive energy, natural ability to get along with people, good record‑keeping, and effective time management. Considerate communication with residents or co‑workers is essential.
