Duty Manager – About you
- Confidence in dealing with guests, managers and colleagues
- Enjoy making fast paced decisions with acuuracy and care
- Previous experience in reception and/or food and beverage at supervisory level minimum
- Drive and passion to seek out opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests
- Enthusiasm and passion for your work and communication with colleagues and adept at multitasking
- A keen eye for detail, organisational skills and a flexible attitude
A full, clean driving license with a minimum of two years experience in a similar role is a requirement for this position.
Aim of the Hotel Duty Manager role
To ensure the well-being of all guests during their time at the hotel and maintaining a high level of host presence throughout to ensure the overall smooth running of the hotel at all times when on duty.
Key responsibilities of the Hotel Duty Manager:
- Ensuring you are prepared for every shift with faultless hotel knowledge
- Show passion for your guests experience by attending daily briefings to learn about special occasions, requirements and VIP guests
- To take ownership in welcoming and bidding farewell to all visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Ensuring all guests receive prompt service and guidance relating to their stay

- Be flexible in covering all departments and offer support regarding the team to ensure they are equipped for service
