nexos are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Aberdeen! This is a full-time, permanent role.
This role is all about creating an open, friendly, and approachable environment where internal customers feel comfortable bringing forward ideas, issues, and challenges. You’ll play an active role in regular stand-ups, sharing progress on analysis activities and supporting the Development team with any queries that arise from Functional Specifications.
Collaboration is key, as you’ll work closely with Support Analysts and Developers to investigate and resolve user issues, ensuring seamless system performance. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and end users is essential, fostering engagement and buy-in throughout the process.
You’ll be responsible for gathering, identifying, and documenting business requirements using a range of proven business analysis methodologies. This will involve working with internal and third-party providers to scope, implement, test, and deploy solutions that address key business challenges.
As part of the role, you’ll also assist in the preparation and delivery of training and reference materials, ensuring teams can confidently navigate new processes and software systems. Additionally, you’ll provide post go-live support across various Slingshot systems, helping to drive continuous improvement and operational success.

Experience of Business Analysis and Design methodologies e.g.: UML, BPMN, etc.
Working knowledge of AGILE methodology.
Desirable: Additional skills or qualifications that are preferred but not essential.
Previous Oil and Gas industry experience
