The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Tier 1 Legal 500 ranked law firm known for providing high-quality legal services to both businesses and individuals.

As the Casualty department continues to expand, the firm is looking for a File Handler to manage their own caseload. You will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of Employer’s Liability and Public Liability cases for multiple insurance clients. The role demands a meticulous, analytical approach to liability issues, with a solid understanding or experience in handling the documents and evidence typically involved in these cases.

Most of the cases will be Fast-Track, with the opportunity to manage Multi-Track cases up to £100K. These cases are typically handled on a non-delegated authority basis. Key responsibilities will include attending case management conferences, preparing counter schedules, and drafting pre-trial reports.

This role offers a high level of autonomy, with administrative support provided, and is open to candidates with motor fraud experience who are looking to transition into EL/PL work.

  • Proven experience as a Litigation Executive or File Handler with expertise in EL/PL cases
