Lead Mechanical Engineer

Aker Solutions in Dyce, Aberdeen are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer for a 3 year Brownfield modifications contract.

The contract provides flexible working arrangements for this inside IR35 role. A staff role is also available.

Responsibilities:

Required activities to facilitate smooth and timely delivery of assigned Mechanical Engineering scopes to acceptable company standard.

• Progress reporting as required for assigned scopes.
• Compliance with policy, process, and regulations.
• Project awareness of risks and mitigating actions.
• Promotion of compliance with company Health & Safety standards. Lead / participate in meetings as required to deliver the contracted workscope.
• Category C scopes from define (FEED) phase through to execution and handover.
• Preparation of mechanical specifications, datasheets, etc.
• Mechanical package management.
• Perform all technical duties in a highly and competent and efficient manner.

What we think you should have:

• Proven experience of offshore brownfield modification projects. Mechanical package responsible engineer experience (general, static, rotating)
• Sound working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.
• Conversant with appropriate technical software.
• Experience in client facing roles.
• Chartered/Professional Engineer with proven experience in relevant field Minimum degree qualified
