Job Description
Medical/Human Anatomy Teaching Associates (Demonstrators) deliver teaching in all aspects of human anatomy, including topographical anatomy, living anatomy, radiological and neuroanatomy. The main teaching commitment is on the undergraduate medical and dental programs, but teaching may also be delivered on science units as well as teaching students from other universities on external courses. Teaching is currently delivered through a blend of on-campus/face to face and online delivery. There are also opportunities which may arise to teach on external postgraduate teaching courses in the Vesalius Clinical Training Centre. Post holders may be involved in University Open Days, widening participation, public engagement and schools outreach.
There are no clinical duties associated with these posts.
Demonstrators are managed by the School Education Director and additionally report to teaching session leads. They will be expected to work well with other members of the department, both academic and technical.

Assisting in the preparation and marking of examinations
Assisting with open days and schools outreach
May provide pastoral tuition for school students
