In the UK, our Consulting team work flexibly together to deliver ground-breaking solutions that span the talent lifecycle. This Experienced Managing Consultant role, which sits within the Digital Consulting Solutions Team would assume responsibility for managing the design and implementation of cutting-edge, digitally-enabled solutions that support clients to assess candidates, fairly and defensibly whilst delivering an optimised and meaningful user experience for participants and deep insights for managers and recruiters.

In this role, Talent Management knowledge and demonstrable client-facing experience is essential. The role of Managing Consultant is pivotal in designing and delivering impactful digital interventions and solutions. The role is also instrumental in helping to support the strategic direction of the Digital Consulting function through knowledge sharing, thought leadership, challenging constructively, and using one’s own experience to drive innovations in the solutions we implement. We continuously focus on improving the ways we work as a team and how we navigate a digital landscape. You will be conducting client-facing, talent management delivery activities aligned to Talogy’s core solutions, working in tandem with colleagues from the commercial and client experience teams to provide solutions to client challenges across assessment, development, and accreditation training. With your focus on digitised talent assessment projects, you will manage the broadest and most complex

accounts by building strong client relationships, assuming ownership of the design and delivery of complex, multi-component assessment processes, and actively seeking opportunities to grow accounts, adding further value for our clients.

Role Responsibilities

With a dedicated focus on digital consulting, typically within high volume talent management contexts, the Managing Consultant should have a passion for rigour, technology and maximising the opportunities

for digital innovation and psychology. Our client work is fast-paced, and this role requires resilience and adaptability in order to succeed. You would be primarily responsible for:

  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of the ethical considerations and practicalities of applying Talogy’s core product suite, including a comprehensive knowledge of its various applications across talent management specialisms.

  • Leading projects, overseeing the design and delivery of end-to-end digital talent management solutions involving job analysis, competency framework design, development of simulation exercises for assessment interventions, creation of assessment process flows for managing candidate volumes, and conducting process evaluation and validation.

  • Leading a cross-disciplinary delivery team spanning experts across the business, including developers, implementation services, ATS Partners, team members, project managers and assessment consultants, to scope, design, implement and evaluate innovative online assessments.

  • Being a highly credible advisor in the design and delivery of assessment content, embedding best practice and offering solutions which are robust as well as innovative and cutting edge in the market.

  • Working with assessment data to share with clients the relevant insights into their assessment processes and providing solid recommendations on how they can use these insights to improve outcomes.

  • Supporting Talogy’s sales team, acting as the technical expert, helping them to design solutions and supporting with costing, pitches and working with the sales team to help grow key accounts.

  • Actively participating in marketing/business development activities, identifying opportunities through own network, actively managing their pipeline, leading on responses to inbound opportunities, preparing and presenting proposals in high-stakes bids to win new business.

  • Taking an active role on internal project initiatives to drive enhancement in Talogy’s suite of Talent Management products and services, sharing and growing industry knowledge and thought leadership, working with colleagues in other disciplines.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements

  • Strong experience in volume talent assessment as a managing consultant/or in an in-house role within a recruitment or Talent Acquisition team working with third party assessment vendors

  • Experience considering strategic and innovative approaches to winning new business and developing and implementing new solutions

  • Knowledge of systems integration and/or demonstrable experience of working with third party applicant tracking systems and user interfaces for hiring managers/recruiters

  • Experience of translating client needs through to technical solution requirements and vice versa

  • Experience of leading substantial, complex, multinational client assignments

  • Ideally, a Masters in Occupational Psychology (or in a related subject at an equivalent level)

  • Strong grounding in psychometric analysis including group differences analyses, Adverse Impact, reliability, and validity studies

  • Strong Microsoft skills; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and comfort with remote technology platforms
