Multiply is a company that provides personalised financial advice at scale to everyday people. We are currently in an exciting phase of growth, having secured funding from a strategic investor and are looking to scale our operations.
We are seeking an ambitious and hungry back end developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Python, experience with Postgres or other relational DBs, and a passion for building maintainable and high-quality code. You’ll also have a strong grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript, experience with React or similar tools, and a passion for building maintainable and high-quality code. You should also be a strong problem-solver, with a customer-centric attitude and a desire to learn new skills.
What are we looking for?
Engineering fundamentals, with a passion for learning more

You’ll have a good working knowledge of Python, with strong experience of web frameworks and API design

You’ll be experienced with build tooling in large Python projects e.g. pants

You’ll be comfortable with cloud based infrastructure, databases (especially PostgresQL) and designing distributed systems

Experience with GraphQL APIs and front end development, including Javascript / Typescript and React, is a bonus

You will have a strong opinion on what good, maintainable code looks like

You are familiar with ISO27001 standards and comfortable with implementing monitored controls
