Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Telecoms)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for a 6-month contract role, based in Reading, with a hybrid working arrangement. This role is outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects within Telco, with a focus on broadband fibre and the integration of software/systems into the network.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems and software.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the telecoms industry, particularly with broadband fibre projects.
- Strong understanding of software and systems within Telco.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
